It started
with a dance.
Two backgrounds. One shared outlook.
We’re Joshua and Celeste Dendy, an American and an Ecuadorian. We met at a wedding in 2021, when Joshua asked Celeste to dance. In 2022, we celebrated our own wedding in Cancún, Mexico.
We love traveling, spending time at the beach, and finding something good in each day. We started SOLAZ to make clothes we would want to wear on those days: comfortable, simple, and easy to put together.

We believe there is a solution to every problem. When plans change, we try to stay positive, keep a sense of humor, and figure out the next step together.
We believe the things we focus on become a bigger part of our lives. For us, that means paying attention to what is going well and appreciating time together, new places, and the people around us.
Whether we are at the beach, exploring a new place, or at home, we want to be comfortable and feel good in what we wear.
THE VISION FOR SOLAZ
Clothes for

SOLAZ is a Spanish word for rest, enjoyment, and recreation. That is the feeling we had in mind when we started the brand.
We want to make clothes that are comfortable without feeling careless. Simple shapes, colors that work together, and a small SOLAZ signature. Things you can wear at home, on a trip, or out for the afternoon.
SOLAZ is a reminder to enjoy life, look for solutions, and make time for the things that matter to you.
